As some of you may have gathered from my posts about various electronics and computer-related stuff, I’m a huge fan of technology and pretty much anything tech-related. I guess, for that reason, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that I geek out when it comes to the Mac. Many of my favorite feeds are Mac-related, and one of the best places I’ve found to get all of the latest Apple news is MacGasm. I’ve been subscribing to their posts for over a year now so it’s a huge honor for me to be featured as a guest writer today.
Several months ago Joshua wrote a great piece here about getting HTML in your mail footers using Mail.app. His tutorial does an excellent job of breaking down the steps necessary to trick Apple into allowing you to post some customized goodness beneath your messages. The only catch is it takes a bit of doing and, if you’ve abandoned Apple’s mail client to move to a web-based solution, you’re out of luck. One nice thing about WiseStamp is that it’s designed as a browser extension so it goes where you go.

Hey Mason!
Long time no see ^_^ Missed you. This sounds like the footer you showed me how to do last year on my e-mails. It’s still awesome and I still love it! Thank you again for showing it to me. Hope this finds you healthy and enjoying some bright sunshine. I am enjoying the sunshine and “slightly” elevated temperatures here in Northern PA. Still chilly but hey I’ll take the little bit of warmth it’s melting the snow!! ^_^ Take care.

Hey Angie,
Sorry it’s taken me a while to get back to you here! WiseStamp is totally like that, but on steroids. I really like the freedom it gives you to share anything you’d like. Messages can be so cold these days. I’m a big fan of anything that will make electronic interaction more personal
Hope this finds you feeling healthy!

Aww, that’s so awesome!! I’m proud of you! It’s one of those situations where I wish I could hug you, hehe.
I don’t have a Mac or use any of those web browsers (I’m so effing obselete. Actually this computer is. Most of it. It’s sort of a patchwork computer) but I read the article anyway.

Thanks! Hoorah for more e-hugs!
I really appreciate you reading my article. Even if it wasn’t applicable
Have you tried Chrome? I’m now using it almost exclusively and am a big fan.

Right now I’m using Internet Explorer but I’m pretty sure Chrome is on the computer somehow. I’ll have to try it out.

You’re going to love it! Google has a whole plethora of extensions that are super handy for everything from productivity to procrastination
The extensions that fall into the latter category are definitely far more fun.

Thanks! By the title of your blog, I’m guessing you’re not a big Mac guy, but I’d still highly recommend giving the blog I created this guest post for, MacGasm an eye. They have some great articles about technology that I think you’d really enjoy.
